Racing Setup

Just bought an Xbox 360 racing wheel after the price drop last week? Well take a look at this setup reader Robert’s friend gave himself for his birthday and drool.

Not only does it have a leather racing chair, the Xbox 360 racing wheel and 5.1 surround speakers, he somehow got the display to split over three Samsung HDTVs. Our only question is how the hell did he do that? We didn’t know PGR supported multi-monitors. – Jason Chen

Thanks Rob!

Midnight Club: Los Angeles, MC4, Midnight Club 4, PS3, XBOX 360, Rockstar, MODernRockstar Games is proud to announce the fourth installment of its critically-acclaimed and genre-defining Midnight Club franchise, Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Developed by series creator Rockstar San Diego, Midnight Club: Los Angeles will be available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION3 system in early 2008.

“Midnight Club’s addictive blend of freedom, style and sheer sense of speed sets it apart from its competition,” said Sam Houser, Founder and Executive Producer of Rockstar Games. “With Midnight Club: Los Angeles, Rockstar San Diego looks to once again push the boundaries and expectations of what a racing game can be. Rockstar San Diego has always been the technology leader in delivering the ultimate racing experience, and with this game, they are looking to re-define the idea of a completely immersive racing game experience, both offline and online.”

Need for Speed XI (unofficial title) is the latest upcoming title in the Need for Speed series. Recently EA published a teaser trailer of the next Need for Speed, in which the date 31 May 2007 is mentioned, suggesting that more information will be released at that date.[2] On May 25, 2007, the magazine PLAY printed an article about the upcoming game, calling it Need for Speed: Pro Street, and one of the screenshots included in the article shows a license plate on one of the cars that read “PROSTREET”.[3]

Key features of the game, suggested by early rumours and confirmed by the teaser trailer, include very advanced graphics, realistic damage modelling and more realistic racing, instead of the arcade-like racing of previous titles

- Cars are from about ’60s to present.
- Only 8 exotics.

- You don’t have to win all races, you have to be first in general clasification ( like in URL).
- You can turn off abs etc.
- The game will be much more real.

We still don’t know whether these information are just rumours or facts, we still have to wait for this Thursday to come before we can know.
